Turns out, the more you dial in the details in your prompts, the cooler the graphics you get. But, funny thing, sometimes going all-in on the specifics doesn’t quite hit the mark.
Here’s a case where I threw in some super detailed prompts:
Please create a digital illustration of an energetic Arabian horse galloping through a lush green pasture. The horse should have a sleek, shiny black coat and a flowing mane and tail. Show the horse in a dynamic pose, with its front legs outstretched and its head held high. The background should depict a clear blue sky with a few fluffy white clouds. Capture the horse’s majestic and powerful nature in a realistic style.
I then tried to do something more abstract, which did turn out better.
Prompt used:
Create an abstract digital illustration of a horse in motion, capturing the essence of an Arabian horse galloping through a pasture. Use bold, sweeping lines and shapes to depict the horse’s form, emphasizing its dynamic pose with outstretched front legs and a raised head. Employ a vibrant color palette, featuring shades of black and dark blues for the horse’s body, contrasted with energetic splashes of green and yellow to represent the pasture. Incorporate abstract representations of a blue sky and white clouds in the background, using geometric shapes or loose, expressive brushstrokes. The overall composition should convey a sense of power, freedom, and grace while maintaining an abstract and artistic style.
This still isn’t quite what I wanted, so I decided to take it step by step. This is the result.
Prompt 1: Create an image of a horse running.
Have it running through the desert sands at a full gallop.
…not literal fire, just an emotionally firey look.
For me, the best results come when I build on previous prompts. And just between us, I don’t think ChatGPT is a big fan of Arabians. 🙂
